What a fine young dog Phil is becoming! When he first returned to AFH, he was boisterous and almost out-of-control because he was making up for his lost puppyhood. Since then, he has settled down, learned to believe that he won't be abandoned in his crate, and began to trust people. He has had time to interact with the other dogs in his foster's home, where they have taught him some pack manners at the same time that they have provided him with companionship and fun. He's been able to get the other dogs to play with him--he’s quite a tease!--and has lots of friendly romps to work off all of his energy. He's crate trained and housebroken, and does very well on leash. He loves walks that allow him to sightsee in the neighborhood. He seems to be fine with people of all ages, and we are teaching him not to even LOOK at the cat!
