Hi, I’m Dosey. I'm was left at the Amelia Island shelter in Florida, with my brother Jack, after our owner died of cancer. Thankfully, our favorite volunteer at the shelter brought us to AFH to find new, loving homes. AFH now has me on a strict diet and I am down to 70 pounds. I am in perfect health and ready to find my forever home. I certainly would love it if my brother and I could be adopted together, but if not, I'm sure we will adjust just fine if we have to be separated. Per those that know us well they say "WE ARE THE PERFECT HOUSE DOGS AND LOYAL COMPANIONS. We are both very quiet in and out of the house and are completely housetrained. We are also extremely well-mannered--even when meeting new people and other dogs. I am a little more adventurous than my brother and curious. I am good with kids and other dogs.
