Brodie is just an adorable Terrier. This sweet, loving, playful boy had a very rough start. He ended up in the PG County shelter after he had been hit by a car. Although he was suffering from a bad bump on the head, and a broken pelvis and femur, he was not looked at by a vet for almost two weeks. Once the severity of his condition was known, he was rushed to the orthopedic surgeoun vet on Thanksgiving Eve by AFH volunteers. There the specialist held the doors of their office open late to perform emergency surgery. Despite his terrible ordeal, Brodie has bounced back nicely. Only four days after surgery, his foster mom is doing all she can to keep him calm and quiet according to vet orders. Brodie appears to be housebroken and crate trained. He loves kids and other dogs. Once he is cleared by the vet, he will be available for adoption.
