Kathy is a Pit Bull that was rescued from the Tylertown staging area in the Katrina disaster area. When she came in, she was on the thin side and had some skin issues. As many of these dogs were rescued from areas flooded by Katrina, it is not unusual for them to have skin issues from the toxic waters they were swimming in. This poor girl is also undergoing treatment for heartworm. Kathy is apparently good with cats and likes to play with dogs of all sizes. She loves to sit on laps and is quite a kisser. She has a loving spirit and greatly appreciates warm hugs. Kathy also has a love of bones with peanutbutter centers and enjoys playing with her toys. She is crate trained and obedient.
