Lou - Adopted

Male (Altered) — Date of Birth: 06/10/2004 (22 years old (Senior))

Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever Mix

We believe Lou is a Golden Retriever/Lab mix. Like many of the dogs rescued in the area that Lou was found, he is on the thin side. He is also heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. Update: Lou's foster family has renamed him Mondale. He has been fostered by them for 3 months while he recovered from heartworm. He is now a healthy, happy dog. This handsome boy is very loyal to his people. He is friendly and energetic. He likes to cuddle and loves dog biscuits. He is smart and has learned several commands quickly. He does not like cats, but gets a long great with other dogs. He would make a great hiking companion and walks well on the leash. He is crate trained and housebroken.
