Angel is a country girl at heart. Some of her favorite pastimes are trips to dog parks, hikes in the woods and high-speed sprints in a fenced back yard. In these places, she is truly in her element, and she opens up and shows you her truly wonderful spirit. Angel arrived at AFH with her littermates after having come from a rural shelter in Georgia. She is a sweet and gentle dog with a very big heart. She is super intelligent and picks up commands quickly, always coming when she is called. Angel missed out on some needed socialization when she was young. Because of this, Angel is very shy with people, especially men. But, she’s learning to trust people and each day makes great progress. Angel loves other dogs and does well with cats. She will do well with a special family who can be patient as they introduce her to new situations and people.
