Opal came to AFH after having her puppies. She used to be very thin, but now has a beautiful coat and had filled out very nicely. Opal is very quiet, a real surprise for being a hound, and also very sweet. She is a little shy at adoption days, but take her home and she is very affectionate. Although most hounds love to chow down, Opal is actually a dainty eater. She doesn't counter surf like most hounds. She is easy going and would be good in any family.
