Shelly

Shelly is a 35 pound, super SWEET, smart and sensitive Lab mix who came from rural Mississippi just in time for the New Year.  Shelly was yet another stray who landed up at animal control. She is a very relaxed girl and has a low to moderate energy level. She just loves to get her belly rubbed and will invite you by her belly-up posture. She is very curious and is learning quickly the rules of the house...what she may or may not chew on (she is a puppy). A simple ‘uh, uh, uh’ is followed by the replacement toys which are hers to dismantle. Although she doesn’t enjoy her crate time, she is silent with no verbal complaint. She is gentle and compliant when it comes to activities like getting into the crate, waiting in the crate until I put on her leash, and bath time which she really doesn’t enjoy. In fact she won’t follow me into the bathroom anymore. YAY! The shelter described her as ‘super sweet’ and they were right! She will do well in any situation.
