Obie

Obie is a handsome, perfectly sized, Australian Cattle Dog mix who landed at animal control in rural Mississippi and his family never came looking for him. He’s a medium-energy boy, who is excellent on a leash and would be a great companion on the hiking trails or just nice walk abouts in the neighborhood. He is incredibly sweet with children and older folks, and hilariously wishes to “herd them along”.  Obie gets along well with other dogs but would also be happy to be someone’s one and only, as he is a a napper who is a massive snuggler and cuddler. This very good boy is house trained, crate trained, and genuinely eager to please and learn additional manners and skills. Once you meet this sweet, adaptable boy and look into his soulful eyes – you too will be smitten!
