A note from their foster: I have been around a lot of puppies and I can assure you the families who adopt these sweethearts will not be sorry! They respond well to simple corrections and come running at the sound of a whistle. They happily go in their crate at night (Lanie was able to climb out of a puppy pen) or for a nap/quiet time. And even at their young age they seem to be crate trained! No accidents so far, and they seem to have the instinct to go as soon as they get outside. Gretchen’s ears sometimes stand straight up and they’re oh so cute and expressive! She is also slightly more petite. Initially she was a bit more cautious around people but once she saw her sister getting love and attention she couldn’t resist! They are both very affectionate and when you hold them they just melt in your arms and are content to stay there as long as you’ll have them. Their silly, playful puppy antics keep us laughing, but once they settle down they are total love bugs. They are very good and completely submissive with our dogs, and seem to know to leave the older ones alone who aren’t as interested in puppy play. What more could you want in a puppy?!
