June Bug/Daisy

Junebug/Daisy was given up because she chases the family cat. She originally came to us from North Carolina where feuding neighbors and neglectful care landed this nice girl in the pound. June Bug has the energy and playfulness of a puppy but is also perfectly content to spend hours quietly lounging and sleeping.  She has been amazing with all of the children she has met, quietly dealing with all of the usual tugs, pulls and pokes of little ones. June Bug has played well with most dogs we've seen on our walks (big and small) and almost never barks even when they do. She loves to play fetch and chase. She also likes to go for walks and seems to really come alive when jogging next to you. She knows some basic commands and seems very receptive to learning new things. She would love a forever home where she has space to roam in the backyard and/or an owner who likes to be outdoors.  Overall, she’s loving and sweet and still a puppy – very much still learning.
