Vic's Zeus

Hello People,

My name is Zeus (Apollo’s brother) and I am a Labrador Retriever mix. The mix, I do not know about. Now, what I do know is that I came from a rural high-kill shelter. I have been through a lot in my short life and I am very happy to be here. I’m just a little boy with a big heart looking forward to meeting my new family, enjoying watching TV on my owner’s lap, giving kisses, playing catch, and napping (remember, I am a growing boy!). I also have an uncanny ability to learn quickly. I really like the outdoors and going for adventures riding in the care. If I say so myself, I am good on a leash and like taking walks with my fosters every chance I can get. Just remember that I am still a growing puppy. I will need patience and guidance because sometimes I am so happy about being outside that I jump and spin out of sheer happiness.

As much as I enjoy playing, I like staying in my crate when you are not able to keep an eye on me or before you leave the house for work or shopping.

Good to know - You will see from my dapper pictures (such a handsome guy) that my coat is a little thin in some areas; it is being treated and is much better than even a week ago. It is not contagious to people or animals. At this time, I am a bit underweight but my fosters are taking good care of me and I will be just fine. Oh, yes, I am scheduled to have my “boy surgery” over the next few weeks.

When I come home with you, it will be exciting for everyone. Remember that it will take time for all of us to adjust to our new schedule and another family member in the house. I will slowly and quietly check out my surroundings and new family. As I become familiar with everyone and my new home, I will look for kindness, guidance, and compassion to help expand my new life with lots of adventures, playtime, love, loyalty, and kisses.
