If you are looking for a lab, no need to continue reading.....if you are looking for an intelligent medium sized dog with plenty of energy, Samoa may be the dog for you! She appears to be a beagle mix; perhaps somewhere in her family tree there is a lab, but it would be a distant relative. Samoa was originally adopted out as a puppy to a family who had never had a dog and discovered they really didn’t have time for one. Samoa has learned to walk well on a leash and is crate trained and housebroken. She is learning to lie down and stay on a mat. Samoa is very food motivated and willing to learn. Samoa would make a great hiking, running, or biking partner. We recommend that she not go to a home with small children, simply because she has a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Samoa’s new owner needs to be willing to dedicate some time to her so that she continues on the path to becoming a well-mannered, delightful companion.
