Scruffy
Scruffy is a 16 pound short-haired terrier, likely a Jack Russell or Rat Terrier mix, found as a stray in rural West Virginia. He loves people, young and old. He is ecstatic to see his foster family's children come home from school and completely tolerant of being carried around. He also gets along well with his foster family's two dogs. Scruffy is very energetic and agile and quite the jumper. He is extremely fast and leaves our other dogs far behind when he tears around the back yard. He is learning to walk on the leash, and is mostly but not entirely house-trained. At first Scruffy did not understand toys, but has learned to play ball and tug of war. Keep an eye on your shoes… When he is well-exercised and tired, he is very cuddly. He likes car rides. Scruffy is very loving and will always stay by your side.
