Thailand Fraser

Fraser arrived from Thailand on November 24th.  He has settled into his new life very quickly and comfortably.  He is a very calm and patient dog, eager to learn what his people expect of him.  He loves to sit on the couch or lay in his crate.  He is curious, and likes to follow people around the house to check up on what they are doing.  He likes receiving treats, but his main motivation is positive attention from his people.

He gets along very well with the two other dogs in the house, often curling up with them to take a nap together.  As he gained more confidence in his new home, he went from watching how they played, to following them, to joining in.  It has been wonderful to watch him learning his new role as a household dog. 

He walks well on the leash, although he wishes he could chase the squirrels when he sees them.  He is mostly housetrained, accident free for several weeks. He realized by the second day that he can go over to the front door to let us know that he has to go outside.  He loves to watch out the front windows, but does not bark.  He does not chew furniture or get into much trouble if left unsupervised, but he will get into any paper towels or scrap paper if you let him.  

He has a very sweet personality, and will melt your heart with his expressive eyes.  He is great with other dogs, and has been good with all of the children he has met (ages 16 months to 17 years).  He has not been around cats.  He would also be fine as an only dog, happy to soak up all of the love you can give him and to give you plenty in return.
