Lewis
This is our new foster, Lewis. He arrived on the transport from Kentucky yesterday and immediately stole his foster family's hearts. He is a gorgeous, boxer mix. A neighbor in Kentucky witnessed him being beaten by his owner and left for dead. She was able to get him to emergency care. He had swollen internal organs, a broken leg and huge eyes full of pain and sadness. He is recovering well. In his foster home, Lewis is a happy, sweet and energetic boy full of goofy puppy energy. He loves all of his new toys and slept in the middle of them last night. He is learning to walk on a leash and establishing a routine for house training. He loves to give kisses and already has learned to "sit" on command. He is going to be a big boy. He deserves a family who will give him patient guidance and surround him with love. In return, he promises to steal your heart with his big brown eyes and sloppy kisses.
