Muppets - Constantine
Connie is a sweetheart!! Somehow she lost her tail, leaving her with just a little nub that she wags and wags. She reminds us of a little Australian Shepherd. She is quiet and calm. When she first came, she needed to watch before she decided if she was safe; now she is comfortable and she is the puppy who is always at your side. She seems very mature at this stage. We believe she will do best in a quiet home where she will not feel overwhelmed. She appears smart and very trainable. Connie is going to be a fabulous dog!
The Muppets were dropped in a box at a shelter in WV. They are currently being socialized with many people and LOTS of children. Each day they are handled by nineteen of our schoolchildren who hold them, love them, talk to them and play with them. The puppies have all been bathed, brushed and had their nails trimmed. They spend a lot of time outside and are learning the grass is where they are supposed to use the bathroom. They are currently staying in crates in groups of two for down time and at night; by the time they are adopted we will have started crating them by themselves and having them eat out of individual food bowls to make the transition home easier. All of their crates are mostly dry in the mornings. We will put collars on them and begin to have them drag around leashes. These are wonderful puppies; please let us know if you would like to come out and see them at our home where you can interact with them and pick the perfect one for your family.
