Maltese Mix

It is difficult to tell you how wonderful Nelly is-- difficult because I know that she will be adopted quickly and we will miss her.  Nelly is a Maltese mix that came from a high-kill shelter in Florida.  She is house-trained and crate-trained and has had no accidents with us.  We were told Nelly’s previous family gave her up because she ate her poop, but we have seen no evidence of that.  Rather we have seen a sweet, friendly girl who likes to play and does the cutest little dance for treats and toys. She gets along with our two other foster dogs and does well with people of all ages.  She likes to cuddle in a lap or next to you on the couch dog, but is also content napping in her dog bed. She loves to give kisses to all the people and dogs in the house and has a lot of love to give.
