Roo
Hi, my name is Roo. I am a fun young girl looking for a loving family. I came all the way from sunny Miami after I ended up at a high-kill shelter. AFH saved me from being euthanized. The woman who found me said that I obeyed commands in Spanish but I am now learning them in English. I have got sit and I'm working on lay down and stay. I'm really a smart girl. I love snuggling on the couch, giving kisses and playing with my toys. I haven't chewed on anything not allowed but I am crated while my foster parents are gone. I settle in the crate quickly. I also sleep in the crate at night while I'm getting this whole house breaking thing down. I have made progress but still need someone to work with consistency and positive reinforcement. I love to go for walks and I even jog well. I don't pull during my walks and I like meeting other doggie friends. I don't do well with aggressive dogs, little dogs, and hissy cats. For that reason I shouldn't go to a home with young children. I play well though with dogs my own size, just see my video! I probably went hungry during my young life and I don't like it when other dogs are near me when I am fed, however, I do fine with treats around my foster sister. I love meeting people and I am very sweet with everyone. I very rarely jump up. I am spayed, had all of my vaccines, and I am already microchipped. I am ready for a loving home so come and meet me 🙂
