Whitey
Male (Altered) — Date of Birth: 08/01/2011 (14 years old (Senior))
Chihuahua Mix
Whitey is affectionately called “Bugsy” by his foster for the wide-eyed look he gets when a new person tries to pick him up. He was not very well socialized when he first arrived and was very nervous, but in just a few weeks his personality has done a complete 180 when at home. We don’t know much about his history, but other than the nervousness at first meeting people he seems very well adjusted. He loves following his foster around and occasionally chasing her feet. He can’t wait to hop on the bed and burrow in a pillow fort or under the covers. He has picked up potty training well really enjoys going for walks.
Whitey loves giving kisses and shows his excitement whenever his foster comes home. He is crate trained, but stays out during the day and doesn’t get into any trouble. He doesn’t bark and almost never whines. He would do best in a home without small children as loud noises and sudden movements scare him. He has a lot of “chihuahua traits” like bonding incredibly closely with one person. Someone looking for a sweet companion dog that will always be happy to see you would be a great forever home for him.
