Bandit is an adorable little Chihuahua with a wonderful and sweet disposition! He is very playful and happy all the time and he loves to be scratched and carried around. At 8 lbs, he is a true lap dog - he will melt on you and snuggle so well that you will forget he is there! He quickly got into our routine and is getting an "A" on potty training. He runs to the backyard door first thing in the morning. He LOVES his walks! I put him on a 20 foot leash in the park and never gets tangled up or hooked around a tree, etc. He is super smart! Although he does not love his crate (like some dogs do), he is crate trained. We don't have to leave him in his crate during the day, but he will lay inside it sometimes to feel cozy. At night, he sleeps on our bed, under the covers, and only comes out when we get up. He pretty much ignores our dogs and he likes the little dogs at the adoption event, but he gets a bit annoyed with puppies jumping on him. I don't know how he does with cats. He is not a barker, but he snores, sometimes loudly, which I find adorable! He adores people and he is quite gentle with children as well - although because he is so small, he probably should not be placed with toddlers. He will be happiest with a family who can give him lots of attention. He is really a smart and sweet dog and will make a wonderful companion!
