...We retired and moved to our house in Florida full-time last June. I'm having some adjustment problems (Virginia lifer!) but the dogs? They are loving the fenced yard, pool, lizards and squirrels. Before retiring we were driving down for a week a month, looking like the Clampetts with two dogs a cat and his litter box.... oh and us! So they were all used to it and now they can stay put. Molly is now 3 1/2 and living up to her beagle/jack russell heritage. (We did the blood DNA test.) Barky McBarkerson jumps up on 5' rock walls on our daily walks, taking the high road while her 5 1/2 year old sister Emma (German shepherd/doberman/bassett - yes bassett; you should hear her howl) takes care of things at sidewalk level. So far Molly hasn't made the connect that she could easily clear our fence. And I'm having to remind my husband that it would be a very bad thing to help her figure it out. Boys. Anyway, our girls and even our 17 year old cat seem very happy here but it might also have something to do with that we're with them almost all of the time. No pesky jobs to take us away from home. The attached photo is weird because it was very sunny, but Molly's on the left and Emma's on the right. Thanks for all that you do. Among others things, you've given us one of the loves of our lives!
