Monroe came from an unfortunate financial situation. Her mama loved her very much but after losing her house and job could not keep her and her friend Bogart. Her situation is no fault of her own. She is about 35 lbs. She is very trim with long legs for her size. She has a wonderful disposition and temperament. She gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids. She is awesome at the dog park- very submissive but still playful. She needs an hour or so of exercise a day to even her out. We have her in an apartment and I think she would do better in a house with a fenced in yard (maybe some kids and dogs to play with) but if someone is willing to give her the love, attention, exercise and training she needs I think she will do just fine. She needs basic training but that is a AFH requirement anyway. She listens well, she just hasn't been taught yet. She doesn't howl or bark excessively. A little bit of whining when she is first put in her crate and maybe one or two barks at the door when someone knocks....that's it. She is so freaking sweet, funny, and lovable. This dog is SURE to please any active family. She really does love everyone. She is so so so sweet and it is hard not to fall in love with her. I call her my little super model!
