Hi, my name is Corky, or as my foster mama calls me, Corky Bug! I'm a healthy, little dauchsund/beagle mix and I have especially beautiful pearly white teeth. I was a stray doggy and a family found me when I was pregnant. I stayed with them and had babies and then we were all given to the shelter. I was at the shelter for a while then I got lucky and AFH found me! I'm a very sweet little girl with a submissive, mellow personality. I'm good with other dogs, I've never been with kids, but my calm personality leads my foster mom to believe I would get along with anyone. I'm an extremely fast learner- when I came to my foster home I didn't know basic things like walking on a leash, etc. but in such a short time I've become an expert and I've learned to walk on a leash, play with toys, and best of all I'm totally housebroken! I'm a little shy at first, but I warm up very quickly and prance around with my curly-q tail wagging in circles. The happier I am, the higher my front paws go up as I prance- foster mama is always laughing at me. The vet says I'm healthy as can be. I've had all my shots and in a couple days I will be spayed and ready to go home with you! I can visit with you before then though and it won't take you long to fall in love. You can come to my foster home and see me anytime, just ask my foster mama!
