Andy

Male (Altered) — Date of Birth: 05/01/2007 (17 years old (Senior))
Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie Mix
Andy came in with Amos from an unfortunate owner release situation. He is a very sturdy little fellow and is considered large for a Yorkie. He well-behaved and very mellow. He loves to go on walks in the neighborhood. If you are looking for that First Family Pet, then look no further than Andy. He is already housebroken and crate trained. Andy has become very familiar with the commands: No, Off, and Sit. He gets along with his foster mom's dogs and plays very nicely with his brother Amos. Andy is the more self-assured one as he will go into his foster mom's bedroom to sleep next to Ruby, his foster sister, on Mom's bed very contently. Andy will also go into the crate for his cookie when it is time for his foster mom to go to work. Right now his only known vice is...he will pull on his leash when beginning the walk, so his foster mom is now working on his leash training. Andy's biggest desire is to find someone who has the time to love him and give him the attention he so rightly deserves. He is such a gentleman; as he stands very quietly and lets absolutely everyone pet him. Andy is a very affectionate dog and is always looking for someone to rub him behind his ears, down the bridge of his nose, or on his belly. In the evenings, once he has settled down, he will curl up and nap while the rest of the family either watches some TV or reads a good book. Andy is more than ready for his new forever home today! Please come to adoption to meet him.
