Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix

Swisher is a Chocolate Lab mix. He is housebroken and crate trained. He was given up because his family is left the country and did not want to take him with them. Swisher is making huge progress off leash in the back yard playing with the other dogs. He was originally named Einstein and will answer to that name as well as Swisher. He is very smart and learns very quickly. I can now go out with him and he no longer sees me as the largest rope toy in the world, something to be tugged this way and that by my jacket sleeve. He leaves me alone and waits for me to turn on the hose which he attacks with wild abandon when he is not in the plastic swimming pool making giant waves. This lab loves water and he loves to drink from the hose. He is a very playful pup but he takes cues from the other dogs, is not the dominant member in the pack, and minds his human quite well after such a short time. He gets tons of exercise chasing dogs in the back yard, but this pup without a pack to chase will need lots of exercise each day to stay the happy puppy he is.
