Carlie
Female (Altered) — Date of Birth: 01/15/1997 (28 years old (Senior))
Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie Mix
Carlie was born (we think) in January 1997. Our family inherited her as a rescue from a puppy mill, so she has some issues that predate our family. She has bad cataracts that make her mostly blind, and when we got her, she had only 4 teeth left and they were all rotten, so we had them pulled and she is now toothless. This makes her tongue hang out of her mouth in an adorable way. She is also mostly deaf, although she does respond to loud clapping near her head. Carlie is not potty trained but we have special diapers that she can wear, made especially for her. Carlie is also growing senile, and she has started barking a little at the walls. Carlie is at her happiest when she can sit next to you on the couch and lick her paws or snuggled up in a blanket on her dog bed. She eats only soft food because she has no teeth to chew hard food. Even though Carlie is blind and deaf she has no problem walking around, as a matter of fact she's pretty fast. Carlie seems to adapt to her surroundings quickly.
Carlie needs a forever home to rest and be loved by a special person that can make her comfortable for the remainder of her life.
