Hi, my name is Juno. If I look a little grumpy, I am – or was! How would you like to be dumped from owner to shelter to adopter to adopter's hairdresser, then to some strange lady (my foster mom). Actually, that was the best thing that could have happened to me. I admit I was temperamental at times – partly because my breed can be like that, but mostly because my ears hurt! It turns out that I had pretty bad ear infections, which took time to heal. I'm feeling much better now, so let me share some good things about me. I'm housebroken, crate trained, and I don't shed. Other dogs and cats don't bother me too much, but I do like to eat cat food, and I get a little testy if you tell me to stop. Oh heck, I just like to eat. I love to ride in a car and go for walks, except in the rain. I walk well on a leash, but I like to take my time and "smell the roses," and I prefer sidewalks to grass (especially wet grass). I'm not as shy as I used to be around people and new dogs; in fact, I'm kinda liking the attention. I jump up to greet my foster mom when she comes home and I sleep in my bed next to her bed at night. I sometimes like to have my tummy rubbed, too. I'm pretty set in my ways, so I would prefer a home without children and I would like to be the only pet, so I can get lots of love and attention. Basically, I need a forever home that is patient and understands me, my personality, and my ear issues. I hope that's you!
