Hi! My name is Ethel and I was rescued from the West Virginia puppy mill. I'm a 3 year old (best as they can tell) sleek 9 1/2 pound energetic dachshund. I've been with my fosters for about a month and I've found out that humans aren't so bad. I now enjoy their company and will even jump up on my foster mom's lap. I love being outside with all of my foster family's neighbors of all ages and their dogs. I'm still a little skittish if anyone moves too quickly around me, but I'm doing better. I'm working on house training and I keep my x pen clean and dry 95% of the time. My friend Lucy was adopted this past weekend and I hope to find my forever home soon.
