Cinder is a lovely Lab/coonhound mix who fits in beautifully with our other dogs and has lived with an indoor cat in the past. She is not at all dominant or aggressive, so she would do well as a second dog in any home--regardless of the breed or temperament of the other dog. She is crate trained and wonderfully house-trained (she gives a gentle "woof!" when she wants to go outside). She shares her toys and food, and meets other dogs and people beautifully. (She's our Miss Social Butterfly...!) She needs a yard in which to run, as her coonhound background gives her a higher energy level than Labs have...but she runs, works it off, and comes in as one of the gentlest, kindest dogs you'd ever want to meet. We are still working on her leash training since she gets her activity in our yard; she's a quick learner and is responding well to corrections. She enjoys chewing her toys and other chew things; she is good at settling with them as part of a relaxing family evening. The best part of her new life is the people who she can love and who will love her in return.
