Hi, I'm Mishka. I'm a pure-bred dappled mini dachshund and I'm just a little girl, only 10 pounds. I lived with my family for all 4 years of my life. But after they had a new baby and when I herniated a disc in my back, they couldn't afford the surgery. I needed help immediately or I would never walk again. So my family gave me to A Forever Home. I was really sad to just be given up and to have a hurt back. But AFH took good care of me. They got the surgery done that I needed and now I'm walking again, although I'm still a little wobbly. Now I'm going to be able to live happily ever after and I know that I will find another family who will love me forever. Unfortunately my surgery cost more than $6,000 and I would like to help AFH raise some money so that they can help save other dogs like me.
