Boxer / Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix

Alma's pups are a litter of 8 pups came to us from the Parkersburg Humane Society. Pictured here are the last of the litter, Emma and Cody. Cody is adopted! The best guess for their breed is boxer/catahoula mix. Cody is a very cuddley, and kissy once he gets to know you. He gets attached quite easily and will follow you around everywhere. He loves going on long adventures to creeks or rivers. He is still getting used to water but he gets braver and braver the more he goes. Like pretty much all dogs, rawhides do not bring out the best in him. He has always been a little shy around other dogs but is worked on, on a daily basis he will soon be very comfortable around others. Still in the process of learning to be crate trained and potty trained, but will learn over time. He is very easy to train as far as basic commands; Sit, Stay, Come, Shake. He will be a little shy at first when you meet him, but once he gets to know you, he will warm up to you and love you forever. Emma seems to be a daddy's girl; she loves men! She's not quite aware of her size and thinks she is smaller than she really is. She also loves going on adventures to the creek, as well as to the Dog Park. She is still a little shy with other dogs but is learning day by day that most of them are just as friendly as she is. Emma is very goofy and silly in her own way but when faced with a predicament, she is very intelligent and cautious. She is also still in the process of being crate trained and potty trained. She loves curling up into her parents beds and usually ends up hogging most of it. Emma is quite the charmer and is so very excited to find a family to give her a forever home.
