Hello friends.  My name is Murray and I'm an American Foxhound.  My first family decided after 10 years that they didn't want a dog after having two kids recently.  I was sad and scared and devastated but now I'm living the good life in Brambleton with my foster family, and two somewhat awesome foster dog sisters (the chihuahua is kinda bossy and the Irish Setter only plays on her terms).  I like cats cause they're interesting to watch.  I may be 10 but I have lots of life in me, going on 2+M runs with my foster mom, jumping in and out of the car when we go places and sometimes when my foster dad isn't looking, up onto their ginormous bed (don't tell him that). I know all my commands and have even learned more since meeting my new foster mom.   I love love love long walks, and because I'm a hound, I kinda get lost in the scents and in my head but am learning to not pull so much on the leash.  If you have a fenced back yard, I'd love that just as much as the long walks.   I love dog bones, ice (haven't missed a toss yet!) and snuggling with my foster boy and girl.  I'm looking for a forever family and hope you'll consider me and/or share me with friends and family who may be looking for a loving and respectful companion.  And if I'm not your guy, check out www.aforeverhome.org for other dogs available.
