Belle came to AFH as the ugliest Belle of the ball ever. She had no hair due to a skin condition and had all the signs that she had been severely malnourished. The local shelter had rescued her from a neglectful situation and had fallen in love with her. No one wanted her and she was due to be put to sleep. The shelter begged us to help save her. On that day her life changed and she started on the path to be the "Belle" she was destined to be. She immediately started on medication for her skin problem and all her hair is back. It is short but soft like a velvet gown. Her health has returned and she is back to being a happy playful puppy. She has many silly faces and a gentle caring nature. She gets along well with her foster family (people, dogs and cat) as well as another foster Ben. She loves to play catch and play with other dogs. She is crate trained and loves to play with stuffed toys. You need to watch out when she plays because she has been known to shake a toy so hard it flies through the air.
