Sailor's foster family say that she is such a different dog than the scared, shaking puppy that held on to her arm the day they picked her up. She is gaining her confidence and has learned to eat her dinner and drink her water out of a bowl; she and their dog go back and forth to check out each others food, and she eats well. She goes up and down the stairs with ease. She plays with squeaky and chew toys. She loves to play outside with their dog and enjoys hide and see. She is even starting to play with her foster family outside. She is nearly house trained and sleeps in her crate at night very nicely. As soon as her family comes home, both dogs run to the door to go outside and take care of business. They say that it has been rewarding to watch her learn so much in such a little bit of time and she likes being a dog now. Everything is new to her. She is still a little shy and needs to learn trust, but that will come with time. When you get down on her level, she checks you out by sniffing your face, and she will sit in your lap and let you pet her and has given her first kiss to her foster family. She is very sweet and is a happy puppy, and will make an excellent addition to someone's family.
