Hi my name is Leah and I am a standard wirehaired dachshund. I am about 2 years old and weigh about 10 pounds. I am a lively little girl and love to play with my toys and run around the house with my foster brother and sister. I get along great with all dogs and even leave my foster kitty alone. I am afraid I can be a bit stubborn and do get a bit bored if I do not have a change of activity once in a while. My foster mom has been just teaching me some basic commands and I seem to be catching on quick. I respond really well to the short sessions with different commands mixed in just to keep me thinking. When I am not playing, I love to curl up on my foster mom’s lap and give her kisses. I do not seem to like the crate much, but I am learning that it is actually an okay place to rest. My foster mom is not quite sure if I’m housebroken yet as I have only been with her a short while. However I seem to be doing really good when she lets me out on a schedule. My foster mom is still trying to learn my signals and I’m still trying to learn hers.
