Hanna is a pure-bred Saint Bernard. She is an incredibly sweet girl and has come a long way since we first met her. She comes from a "breeder" situation and, while very good natured, just hadn't had the opportunity to be socialized with people. She has now been professionally trained and we now can handle her, pet her, take her for walks, rub her belly (and she's actually beginning to like it rather than panic). She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and has never tried to nip or bite. Intially, her response was "flight", but she has gotten much, much better. She would do well in a home with a gentle, loving person. She is absolutely fine with other dogs and while we haven't seen her w/ cats yet we would guess that she would probably want to mother the cat if anything at all! Her trainer believes she will continue to progress in the right environment and will make a wonderful, loving companion.
