Hi, I'm Tyler. I am a very handsome German Shepherd mix. I am very friendly and easy going. I just love my toys and had a blast chewing this sea urchin before it gave up. If you throw it, I will even get it for you, but would rather you chase me and try to get it. I also like kids and I love playing with a 4 year old named Patrick. I would probably knock over most small kids if you get me all excited by playing with my toy. Originally, I came from the Ninth Ward of New Orleans. I had sores and burns on my fur from the caustic flood waters, but now I am in perfect health. You would never guess how thin I used to be, now that I am the perfect weight and my fur has grown back nicely. I have not had any formal training, but the volunteers at AFH are teaching me sit, stay, and to walk on the leash. I really prefer to be the only dog, but they are also teaching me to tolerate others while at adoption. As long as there is someone there to remind me, I behave very well.
