Ashley is a medium-sized one-year old Labrador - Sharpei mix. Ashley was born in deplorable conditions that brought on a bad case of demodex. Ashley went through several months of rehabilitation and is now a healthy and happy girl. She still carries many scars from the demodex which gives her coat the look of sculpted carpet. Ashley is housetrained, spayed and fully vetted. True to her labrador temperament, she loves to chase the tennis ball and carry sticks around. She is very interested in cats and likes to chase her foster mom's cat under the bed. She enjoys snuggling, romping and a good mud bath from time to time. She's good with people and children. Prospective adoptees with small children should bear in mind that she can be a bit boisterous and will need some guidance if she is to learn that she must be gentle with the wee ones.
