Just LOOK at this sweet face! And she has the temperament to match. She showed up one day at a local farm and didn't want to leave. She had clearly had puppies recently. The farmer threw motor oil on her because she had some hair loss and he thought she had mange! (No mange, folks, it was flea dermatitis!). That's why she looks like she is in the middle of electric shock in her pictures -- her coat was still really OILY because she hadn't gotten her shelter flea and tick bath yet. Ruby is sweet and shy and quite attractive even covered with motor oil! She needs a loving home. We just discovered that her life was even worse than we imagined before she arrived--She tests positive for Lyme disease and heartworms. She is being treated now for the Lyme and will receive her Heartworm treatments beginning December 12th.. Then after a bit of recuperation she will be healthier than probably ever in her life! We hope that someone out there looking for a sweet and quiet and forever loyal companion will come here after December 12th and take her home to recuperate and start a wonderful new life. She definitely deserves a good and kind owner and no one could EVER regret having selected her!
