Hi - my name is Zeus. As you can see, I am a handsome boy. I am 2-3 years old and very healthy and playful. I don't know what breed I am, but because of my brindle color, I could have some Boxer, Pit, or Hound in me. I somehow ended up in a shelter in Maryland. The people there were very nice and called AFH to see if they could find me a home. One Saturday, JoAnna picked me up to take me to my new foster home. It was an exciting day for me. Everyone at the shelter hugged me goodbye. I knew they would miss me. Even though I was sad to leave them, I was also happy because I knew that I would someday have a home of my own. I can't wait! My foster family has two large male dogs who instantly welcomed me into their home by running around the back yard with me. We ran and played together. It had been a while since I was able to run in the grass under the sun. My foster mom says that I'm one of the sweetest dogs she's met in a long time. She let me sleep in her bed and pets me all the time. I like that a lot. As a matter of fact, spending lots of time with my head in my person's lap would make me very happy. I love other dogs and would love to share a home with you and your dog. I'd would also be happy as your only dog because then I could get all of your hugs and kisses. I like cats too. I'm not sure if I would like children because there aren't any in my foster home, but I'd be very happy to meet yours. Please consider giving me a home for the rest of my life. I promise to love you forever if you do. You would be the most important person in my life. All I ask in return is that you love me and take good care of me forever. How about it? Do we have a deal?
