Hi my name is Jessie and I am a year old, pure-bred Beagle. I first came to these generous people at AFH with my little puppies who have all been adopted and now I am waiting patiently for my turn. My foster mom sometimes calls me 'baby face' as I know if I tilt my head just right I give this cute 'baby face' look and I usually get what I want...love and attention. I love to cuddle up on your lap, but I also love to play with my toys. You should see me prance around when I'm excited. I get along with all my foster mom's dogs and kitty, but it did take me a while to get use to her dog's obnoxious behavior. I get along great with my foster sister Baby; she is more my style (quiet but playful). I can be submissive at times and all I want to do is make you happy and show I care. I'm afraid I am still working on my housetraining, but I do know how to hold it for 8 hours. I just need you to remember to walk me because I don't know how to tell anyone I need to go. I'm sure I can pick it up quick if you keep me on a good schedule and take time to teach me. I am really good in the crate and only wine when I hear the door open, because that is the signal that my mom is home. When we walk I would need a gentle tug or two to remind me not to always follow my nose; I just can't help it sometimes the Beagle instinct comes out. Wouldn't you want a sweet little 'baby face' like me?
