SPARKY is a 2.5 year old, neutered male, Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is up to date on shots and is heartworm negative. Sparky had been kept tied outside 24/7. While owned by a neighbor in southern Virginia, Sparky's rescuer had been feeding him and finally the owner offered the dog to her. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to keep Sparky so Russell Rescue took him in and we are looking for a more appropriate, JRT friendly home. Sparky needs a home with a fenced yard and one that can give him the exercise he needs. He loves to run and play and enjoys snuggling with people. He is great with male and female dogs and is getting on well with his other foster friends. Sparky is almost potty trained, but seems scared of the crate so we are working on that. He can be a bit skittish until he knows that he is in a good place. Once he has figured that out he is very affectionate. Sparky is a great little dog looking for his forever home. Sparky is being fostered in Springfield, VA.
