Roscoe and Cilla’s current family are unable to care for them any longer and are looking for a loving home where they can remain together. Although they are not brother and sister, they act like it–snuggling together at night, wrestling, and playing tug of war. They groom each other and love to chew on stuffed animals and rawhides. They are both housetrained and know how to “sit”, “lay down”, “wait” and “leave it." Roscoe is a pure-bred Dachshund, named after the Dukes of Hazard character. He is very mellow at home, loves to cuddle, and likes to hang out. He does well with children and likes visiting and playing with other dogs, but he wouldn’t do well in a house with lots of dogs or tons of action. Cilla is a Doxy-Poodle mix. She likes lots of attention, including chest and belly rubs, and likes to follow you around. She gives lots of kisses and dances on her hind legs. She would be good in a home with school-aged children, but not with very young children or babies. She is generally good with other dogs, although she sometimes tries to dominate and may start barking.
