Waylon

Waylon was found on a rural backroad.  He’s so gentle with a heart of gold, and great with everyone. He’s good with dogs, cats and kids. We think he is a Basset Hound mix because he has a long body like a Basset Hound.  While he’s on the larger side, he has a calm and easygoing demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. Waylon is great on a leash, rides well in the car, and enjoys simple pleasures like lounging outside or gazing out the window. He’s not overly energetic, which makes him an ideal companion for someone looking for a laid-back buddy to share life with. Originally from Mississippi, Waylon spent the last three years living outdoors at a no-kill shelter. Now, he’s ready for a cozy home where he can finally relax and be part of a loving family.
