Smitty is a sweet and loving bluetick coonhound that came from Louisiana. She is definitely not the boss of her littermates so she will understand her role in a house with another dog. Her favorite thing about adoption events is the chance to go meet other dogs!! She is learning potty outside and rarely has accidents in the house or crate. She sleeps in her crate all night. When motivated by treats, she knows the word crate and will go straight in and stay and wait for her treats. She has been doing great with time on a leash and likes to settle into her bed when it’s quiet time. She lives in a house with her foster mom and two teenage children.
