Neera

Neera is a handsome 35-pound hound with a gorgeous short-haired, spotted coat. A loyal and affectionate boy, he is so ready for his loving home, after his complete recovery from illness that required several months of antibiotics and loving care. He’s a laid-back hound who’s content to rest much of the day, but enjoys a vigorous walk morning and afternoon, and maybe an afternoon siesta in the sun on the deck. Neera is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is working on crate-training. He adores treats, and has learned sit, touch, and gentle. He enjoys the company of the other dogs in his foster home.  When napping, Neera dozes as close as possible to his foster mom’s chair, resting his head on her shoes. He is also content to be tethered in the kitchen, watching meal prep and clean up. This strong and resilient little survivor will turn his adorable sweet face upwards and gaze at you with his almond brown eyes, his long soft Yoda ears perked up, and mumble hilarious soft vocalizations. He likes to be brushed and loves a good neck and chest scratch.
