Bella's Koska

Bella and her pups came to us from Louisiana. Mom, a Great Pyrenees who was allowed to roam, had 8 pups and then tested positive for heartworm, so pups were taken a little early at 6 weeks old. Bella is being treated and will make a full recovery.  Koska is a ball of energy and is fearless as a puppy.  She loves attention but is happy just to be near you.  She likes to explore but will check back in with you. She is friendly, spunky, loves belly rubs, cuddles and being near people. She does really well with children and they enjoy her puppy enthusiasm. She also plays well with our husky-mix and shows respect to our chihuahua-mix.  She rarely barks, but is attentive to her surrounding dog neighbors.  Koska is picking up basic commands quickly and does great with calm, simple corrections. She is crate-trained and does all her business outdoors. She goes into her crate easily with a treat. She does protest a a few minutes, but then she lies down and rests. This baby will make a great companion.
