Melanie's Sam
If you’re browsing our website, you already know that "Happiness is a Warm Puppy!" Charles Schultz coined the phrase in his Peanuts comic strip, and we all heartily agree! These adorable baby boys just arrived from Charlottesville, where someone was going to give them away before a local rescue stepped in. They are pug/long-haired Chihuahua crosses. It hasn’t taken long to see their toy breed personalities emerge with curly tails wagging! They are already making great progress on paper training. Sam favors his pug parentage as he displays a gorgeous honey-blonde smooth coat with a smudge of black on his teeny nose. Tom shows off his longhaired Chihuahua ancestry with lotsa toffee fluff and contrasting black mask and ears. If heritage has anything to do with it, they will be small dogs that would do best with adults and older children. As tiny as they are, they are ready to meet the big, wonderful world with cuddles, curiosity, and companionship! These fellas will be adopted in a heartbeat as they are sooooo cuuuuuuute!
