Pug / Dachshund Mix

Jonesy is a delightful Pug/Doxie mix that has just arrived from Mississippi! He stands at about 12 inches at the shoulder, and has a glowing, caramel-colored coat with the tiniest bit of white at the tip of his tail! He is neutered and up to date on his rabies vaccination. Jonesy is crate trained and indicates when he needs to go outside to do his business. So far, he is a moderately active dog who loves to explore the backyard and play with his toys indoors. This little guy has excellent eye contact and is attentive to the whereabouts of his people. Jonesy is food motivated, and quickly learned to come and sit after just a few tries! Jonesy has not had the opportunity to be around children yet, but engages endearingly with the adults in the household. He loves to sit where he can look out a window or snuggle in a welcoming lap for a bit of a snooze! He is quiet and has only made a few little puffs of a bark, as of this writing. This little darling with the winsome expression will make a wonderful companion, and might even have the potential to provide comfort and affection to people of all ages!
